Recently, 42 talented students from our St John’s Campus proudly represented Concordia at the Adelaide South East District Sapsasa Athletics Carnival. In ideal conditions, our young athletes competed with energy, determination and plenty of school spirit across a wide range of track and field events.
As the day unfolded, our bright yellow competition singlets began filling with ribbons, with students collecting first, second and third-place finishes across the events. The excitement continued to build, and following a dominant performance from our relay teams, we were thrilled to be announced as Adelaide South East District Champions!
Even more exciting, a large number of our students have now earned selection to represent the Adelaide South East District at the Sapsasa State Athletics Carnival in early September. What an incredible achievement!
A huge congratulations to every student who competed. Your effort, sportsmanship and determination throughout the day were fantastic to see.
A big thank you to our Year 9 students who helped run the day and did a fantastic job of their marshalling duties.
Finally, a massive thank you also goes to all the parents and staff who supported our athletes and helped make the day such a memorable success. What a day for St John’s Campus!
