Congratulations to Elsa (7NBRO) on competing for South Australia at the School Sport Australia U12 Australian Football Championship in Canberra. The championship was a fantastic week of football, and the South Australian girls demonstrated incredible teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the carnival. In a thrilling and hard-fought match, the South Australian girls achieved a nail-biting victory over Victoria, who have won the last four consecutive championships, to be crowned the School Sport Australia U12 National Australian Football Champions, bringing home both the gold medal and the national trophy.
Congratulations to Nina (8IROS) who recently competed in the SA Skate 2026 competition, where she won 1st place in the Advanced Novice division. She also achieved another personal best in her short program, bringing her Australian ranking to 7th out of 47 skaters in her division. Nina then represented South Australia at the Crystal Challenge Figure Skating Competition in Melbourne, one of Australia's major figure skating competitions. From a field of 15 skaters, Nina placed 4th in the short program and 2nd in the free skating program, earning the bronze trophy overall. She also achieved new personal bests in both programs, improving her Australian ranking to 6th out of 47 skaters in the Advanced Novice division.
